A Day in the Life of a Tech Sales Exec: Nick Sone, Chief Customer Officer, Brennan

“It’s almost generating a washing machine effect where we are going around in circles, talking about AI.” 

This is Nick Sone, Chief Customer Officer at Brennan, emphasising that there is a lot of talk across Australian organisations about the value artificial intelligence provides, but the fundamentals for success are not always in place. 

These foundations include deploying the right infrastructure, often optimised cloud services, establishing governance and control over data, as well as ensuring there is a single source of truth. 

Sone says that it can be a real struggle to demonstrate and show value from AI without this sometimes expensive and difficult path people need to tread to get there. 

“These are fundamental and fairly basic, but when you dig below the surface in many organisations, that layer is just not there,” he says.
