
Rimini Street’s Janet Ravin on the Company’s ‘Human First, Technology Second’ Philosophy in the AI Age
Sep 23, 2025 | 5 minsRimini Street Foundation committee chair, Janet Ravin, says that AI’s impact on jobs is an uncomfortable but necessary conversation for the tech sector, particularly as the wealth gap continues to widen.
“We are in a very interesting situation now where AI is absolutely displacing jobs at a pretty significant rate…existing jobs may go away because of AI and be replaced by something else”, she tells ADAPT.
“But this doesn’t necessarily mean those jobs will come back in the same format or that…the readiness is there for a lot of these individuals. For those already behind, [the gap] only widens.”
US-based Ravin, who is also Vice President of Global Brand, Content and Communications at the enterprise software support provider, established the Foundation in 2015 to invest in communities worldwide through employee time, in-kind contributions and financial donations.
