Australian tech veteran, Leigh Berrell, is now in semi-retirement after 48 years at work, including more than three decades in enterprise IT roles.

Berrell has learned two big lessons at the coalface of enterprise tech: always trust your intuition and don’t hold onto the wrong people for too long.

He once accepted a CIO role despite his gut instincts telling him it wasn’t the right fit.
