Dan Hart is using large language models (LLMs) to support Australian public-school students with a new domain-specific tool that he believes could be a world-first for students. The project builds on his earlier creation, NSWEduChat.

Hart, who previously managed the product development and engineering team behind EduChat for NSW students, has now launched CurricuLLM, an AI tutor that embeds the Australian school curriculum directly within it.

As students use the tool, it assesses their performance and progress in different subjects in real time mapping them against roughly 20,000 outcomes and content points from the syllabus.
