About

Andy has 30 years’ international experience in partnering with senior technology executives and their teams to develop effective leadership and organisational impact. He understands the unique leadership challenges facing senior IT leaders and brings this unique perspective to support, advise and challenge.

During his 30-year career he has balanced “doing” leadership – on operations in the British Army, and as a senior executive in a Big 4 consulting firm – with sharing his leadership experience and expertise as a consultant, facilitator and accredited coach. He has experience working with both IT and vendor executive teams and leaders across many industries, including engineering, oil and gas, mining, defence, technology and financial services.

Andy specialises in developing high-performing IT leadership teams who think and act like executives. This has 3 main strands: 1) being a sounding board and coach to CIOs, 2) developing leadership team members from managers to executives and 3) pulling it all together by aligning individuals into a team that has clear focus, trusting dynamics and effective supporting processes.
