Successfully led the digitalisation of a major public hospital and health service, setting a national benchmark for integrated electronic medical record (ieMR) implementation. This remains the largest successful digital transformation in the Australian healthcare environment.

Deliverables:
Successfully implemented an Enterprise Data Governance framework and aligned data architecture. This processed delivered a cohesive, timely and accurate access to the utilisation and application of data across the organisation. Aligning architectures across technology, applications, business, and processes delivered real time access to data to inform operational needs, improved customer engagement and satisfaction and enabled the monitoring of strategic objectives. This has also delivered improved information security standards and cost efficiency in how metadata is stored. It has also enabled the environment for controlled and compliant usage of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology with the intent to drive increased business benefit and customer engagement and satisfaction.
Successfully implemented Queensland Health’s first automated pharmacy dispensing machines leading to a saving of over 1 million dollars in the first year. This was generated from an implementation of 15 machines, we now have over 74 generating significant savings from improved stock management and control.
